Anti-Drone System solution
Recently, the invasion and damage are significantly increased by enemy’s UAV(Unmanned Aerial Vehicle), Small-UAV and drone(multi-copter), etc. However, there is no defense method to clearly attack and detect. Many systems have been developed with the logic of defending using a soft-kill system such as jammers but there no good results and soft-kill system cannot defense Small-UAV with no link with enemy’s electric equipment. In particular, jamming tech. is useless to UAV with fixed-wing which avoids jamming system and spoofing, geo-fencing method.
UAV which is cannot be identified by the naked eyes at high altitude is detected by detection radar. And UAV detected by radar at ultra-low altitude(100m~1,500m) can be tracked with visual equipment such as high performance camera. But it is difficult to detect and track to the rapidly changing battlefield and the maneuvering speed of a UAV.
In order to solve and defense from the threat of UAV and Small-UAV, DureTek developed the technology of the ultra-low altitude air defense system with the Data-Fusion target management, which is an automatic defense Hard-Kill system of automatic detection (target tracking management)-identification-threat assessment-allocation-strike(Hard-Kill using HPP).
Summary of Problem
- Soft-kill cannot defense completely enemy drones and UAVs.
- Jammer can use only when user knew about the drone operation frequency of enemy country.
- UAV: Limit suppression as long as it does not destroy the electronic circuits where the path is stored
- There is no soft-kill(jammer) system in domestic that can be operated from 1 km or more to “detection – identification – strike”
- No interconnection between detection radar and jammer yet
- Jammer’s effective range is almost 300m(too short)
- Even if a soft-kill is performed, in the case of self-destruction, damage is inevitable within our area.

Operation Concept(Draft)
