DureTek Completes Development of Three Core Technologies for Rifle Performance Enhancement

DureTek, a specialist in ammunition technology, has completed the independent development of three new technologies that elevate the performance of rifles and their projectiles. We have finished the validation and in-house experimentation of these technologies and secured the associated intellectual property rights.

This milestone extends the ammunition expertise DureTek has built over many years into the domain of projectile and weapon performance — delivering comprehensive improvements across a rifle’s durability, precision, and recoil control.

 

The Three Core Technologies


① Detachable Chamber — Modular Chamber Architecture

By separating the chamber into a module independent of the barrel, it achieves more than 2× the durability of conventional designs in in-house testing, while maintaining consistent precision even under prolonged use.

② Ballistic-Optimized Rifling — Optimized Projectile Flight · Chamber-Pressure Harnessing

By correcting alignment errors and trajectory instability and increasing muzzle velocity by roughly 10 m/s in in-house testing, it contributes to greater firing efficiency and effective range.

③ Aerodynamic Hybrid Muzzle Brake — Integrated Recoil Control · Flash Suppression · Lightweight Design

By integrating recoil control and flash suppression into a single lightweight module, it achieves approximately 65% recoil reduction and about 25% improved accuracy in in-house testing.

Each of the three technologies can be applied independently, and their performance synergy is maximized when they are applied together. A key strength is that all three are designed to work with both conventional ammunition and DureTek’s high-performance rounds — enhancing performance without requiring major changes to existing operational systems.

DureTek will continue to refine these technologies by incorporating the results of ongoing ammunition tests and experiments, strengthening its competitiveness in domestic and international markets with defense technology that combines reliability and performance.
